This week in numeracy we have been learning to find percentages of a number and I have made a DLO (Digital Learning object) about it

Shapes in Numeracy

This week in Maths we learnt about a rhombus, trapezium, parallelogram and quadrilateral and find out
the definition. This was interesting learning about different shapes   

Week 6 Reflection 2017

This Week for Numeracy and maybe the next few weeks I am doing a problem solving slide. I am not finished but I will in the next few weeks. I am going to show you some of my work anyways. The purpose of this was to get my problem solving working out better.

Mrs Clark also added these Addmoji's. They are emoji's  that make an answer. Emoji's are number coded. I have a picture of 1 of them
















For literacy I have a Report/Explanation plan about the life cycle.

I finished this explanation plan today and I watched a video to help me with the parts.


I have also done a word out of words challenge this week and I have a picture of it. I did this on Bubbl.us. I did not like doing this but I liked having a challenge!

Week 6 Reflection T1

Literacy

This week for literacy I have done a guess and check for my Follow up. I had to find 4 words in a book then guess them than check them in the dictionary. 

 I used Google drawing and the dictionary. Next time I could change the words that im guessing to 5+ words for a task 

Numeracy

This week I have finished all of my maths buddy tasks and here they are.

This week for Chapter Chat I have been doing Men under a boat Which is part of our book  That we are reading and this is a scene from HOLES With Stanley and Zero under the boat Here it is

Literacy

This week for literacy I did a word work task. I used google drawing to create

I found changing the colours real long but I liked doing rainbow words. My WALT was Write ten spelling words and make them into rainbow colour and fancy fonts.

Numeracy

This week for numeracy I have been doing all of my maths buddy and we had diagnostic tests with 40 questions I used google drawing to create

I found doing all of the 40 questions real hard but I did it. I would want to have more tasks to complete.

This week for chapter chat I have done an argument With my friend Alex. We used google slide to put everything into

Next time I could fill my text boxes better and have more arguments 

Typing

This week I have been playing Tommy Q Zombie defender and I have killed 60 zombies by typing words like chocolate but I actually killed 22 in the round

 

Numeracy Reflection W7 T4

This week for numeracy I did some coding Christmas jokes with Jacob we had an equation and we worked out the answer and there is a letter for each number up to 25 or 26 and it was easy.

This week for numeracy / Topic I have been working on a map to show 5 bad tsunamis and me and James found it very hard to find tsunamis but we did it.

Numeracy

This week for numeracy I have learnt how to do equivalent fractions. At first I Didn't  know what equiv fractions were but then i got the hang of it here is mine.

This week For Numeracy I have learnt how to Know groupings of 10’s and 100’s in a 4 digit number. I learnt that there are 200 tens in 2000 and 20 hundreds in 2000. here is mine

For the last two weeks I have done PrEP and in PrEP you are in a group and you make something
and my group made slingshots, ammo packs and targets.and you have two market days. and you have currency . my school gets a chance to use the name of currency and ours is Kawa
