Today I have made a drawing about The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas. We have read the book and watched the movie and there were differences. We had to make a drawing to tell the differences about the book and the movie and the parts that were the same.

Week 9 reflection

This week i have had a league tournament and our team for the school came 3rd in the tournament. We went in with watching a couple games then we came up for a game against the Richmond tigers and we lost. Then we came up against The West coast combined team an lost roughly about 6-0. We came back in the last 2 games and won both games. So that's that. Here is a team photo.

I have done a word of the week where we have to come up with as much words as we can out of 1 word. This weeks word was encyclopedia. I like doing this because it is a simple task. I have a drawing of my words. I googled lots of random words to help me.

My maths is a work in progress but I will show a slide of my work!

We have been doing PrEP since last week. PrEP is where you are in a group and you make stuff. There are mini market and big market. I am in an origami group and I have learn't how to make : Claws and ninja stars. Ninja stars are the hardest to make for me. Here is a photo of an origami ninja star (Not mine)

Week 6 Reflection 2017

This Week for Numeracy and maybe the next few weeks I am doing a problem solving slide. I am not finished but I will in the next few weeks. I am going to show you some of my work anyways. The purpose of this was to get my problem solving working out better.

Mrs Clark also added these Addmoji's. They are emoji's  that make an answer. Emoji's are number coded. I have a picture of 1 of them
















For literacy I have a Report/Explanation plan about the life cycle.

I finished this explanation plan today and I watched a video to help me with the parts.


I have also done a word out of words challenge this week and I have a picture of it. I did this on Bubbl.us. I did not like doing this but I liked having a challenge!

This week it has been book week at our school!!! and today it was book character day! I went as Donald trump because I own a book about him a photo is under here.

This week for literacy I have started reading a new book as a reading Group and it is a chapter book!!

And I do word work to practice my words every week and in term 1 my friend told me how to do pipes around the outside on a google drawing here is one I did

Literacy

This week I have read a book and done a follow up for my reading group. I made this using a google slide. Next time I could write more slides and I could also write more on my 3rd slide

This week for typing I have done a typing test and I found this one really hard. Next time I could work on trying to get more words correct than speed.

This week for literacy I have done a guess and check for my Follow up. I had to find 4 words in a book then guess them than check them in the dictionary. 

 I used Google drawing and the dictionary. Next time I could change the words that im guessing to 5+ words for a task

This week for writing We did an earthquake recount Because on Monday there was a 7.5 magnitude earthquake. I wasn't scared. I thought the recount was hard here it is. We also had to write at least 200 words in it

This week for reading I have completed a follow up on exploring a jungle. I found it hard to do an informing paragraph because It was hard to think of flowers and fly and bugs for my informing paragraph

Summary
Andy and Terry are in a tree that is 13 stories on it.  Andy and Terry also have to finish a book so that their publisher Mr Big nose can publish it. I think Andy is less-fun type of person and Terry is the playful one. in the end they get their book published
