Week 9 reflection

This week i have had a league tournament and our team for the school came 3rd in the tournament. We went in with watching a couple games then we came up for a game against the Richmond tigers and we lost. Then we came up against The West coast combined team an lost roughly about 6-0. We came back in the last 2 games and won both games. So that's that. Here is a team photo.

I have done a word of the week where we have to come up with as much words as we can out of 1 word. This weeks word was encyclopedia. I like doing this because it is a simple task. I have a drawing of my words. I googled lots of random words to help me.

My maths is a work in progress but I will show a slide of my work!

We have been doing PrEP since last week. PrEP is where you are in a group and you make stuff. There are mini market and big market. I am in an origami group and I have learn't how to make : Claws and ninja stars. Ninja stars are the hardest to make for me. Here is a photo of an origami ninja star (Not mine)

Week 6 Reflection 2017

This Week for Numeracy and maybe the next few weeks I am doing a problem solving slide. I am not finished but I will in the next few weeks. I am going to show you some of my work anyways. The purpose of this was to get my problem solving working out better.

Mrs Clark also added these Addmoji's. They are emoji's  that make an answer. Emoji's are number coded. I have a picture of 1 of them
















For literacy I have a Report/Explanation plan about the life cycle.

I finished this explanation plan today and I watched a video to help me with the parts.


I have also done a word out of words challenge this week and I have a picture of it. I did this on Bubbl.us. I did not like doing this but I liked having a challenge!

Term 2 Reflection

This week for basketball I have played with my team in the grand final against grey-main breakers. We lost 12-8. We played 2 games on Monday but I found the first one a challenging game to get to the finals. that score was 7-11 against Karoro

And this term I have also done production and I have had most time taken up because of that.I have been working hard on the dancing and the singing but I made it worked on the nights and the matinee. Some photos under here

The Topic I am most proud of is Maths with my 2X2 Digit and 3X3 digit multiplication and WestaMaths. I have stop motions that I have done. I have worked hard on maths and love it.

I have also made a matariki game and I worked on it for 45 mins.I used  Sploder.com

Literacy

This week for literacy I have done Readtheory and I have gone from 700 Knowledge points to 976 Knowledge points. I think I have worked hard on my Readtheory.

Other

This week I have done Production which I have done so much practice for and the opening night was scary. I have some photos under here.

This week for numeracy We have started Statistical investigations and we have found them fun this week so here is one of them I did.

W7 Reflection T2

This Week for NUMERACY I have made a slide Showing That i know how to do 3X3 Digit Multiplicion and 2X2 Digit Multiplication. I also dd it With Trent.


I Only learnt how to do 3X3 Digit multiplication this week. So I found it fun having a challenge.

Also This Week for LITERACY I have been doing My jacks Diary for my book STORMBREAKER. I think it is real good It is here.

Day after Ian’s death

Alex woke up I made him breakfast. He must be very sad because He had no parents when he was young because they crashed in a plane flight. Now he has no uncle. He wants to stay at home but I don’t allow him to stay off.

The Funeral

Alex goes to the funeral and sees a Stryker and Son sign but he doesn’t notice me hiding. He decides to follow the van where it goes on his bike. I hear him talking about the junkyard and see him. “Are you Ok??” I decide to ask. “Yeah i'm Fine” Alex says.

Worries about the future.

W6 Reflection T2.

Literacy
This week for literacy I made A NOT free writing and so did my friend Trent.
I found it really fun to make opposite stuff for free writing so here it is.


I found it hard to think of stuff opposite.
And My class finished our KOS (Keeping ourselves safe) and we did slide with 5 facts we learnt

Numeracy This week for numeracy our class got problem solving questions and I got level 4 questions. Here is one of them

This week for numeracy at class we did Problem solving and I was the only one who got them all right (Not bragging Just saying).
 
I found the Dart board question but if you can get some more 58 answers with 7 & 3 please comment them.

Literacy
This week for literacy I have made my own free writing story for literacy.

I think I did amazing with this drawing and really like it.

This week for numeracy I have had to made a slide to prove that I know how to add decimals and I have made up random questions then checked them and have them on slides

I found it a little bit annoying when I made up the questions and then working them out because I didn't try to make them too easy

Literacy

This week for literacy I have done a storm-breaker follow up for this week and we had to write about chapter 1 and 2 and the start we had exactly 50 words and then reduce it to 10 words then 5 words here is mine

This week for chapter chat I have done 2 things. A what you can say for going toilet and create Alexanders book store.

This week it has been book week at our school!!! and today it was book character day! I went as Donald trump because I own a book about him a photo is under here.

Literacy
This week for literacy I have started reading a new book as a reading Group and it is a chapter book!!

And I do word work to practice my words every week and in term 1 my friend told me how to do pipes around the outside on a google drawing here is one I did

 This week we have got back to school from the holidays and I am ready to learn again.

Literacy

This week for literacy I have done word work pipes on a drawing with my words inside the middle. 

I worked really hard on the pipes. The words are hard to remember because they are really long.

Numeracy

This week for numeracy Me and my friend Nicky have made a slide of stuff we have learnt last term with Miss Gibbens.

End of term reflection (T1)

Hi everybody. This term has been amazing and yes it is the end of the term and I have had a great term. I have also got a restricted license which means I can now work on the landing. I am working for a full license so that I can work all around the school.

I would really like to apply for a full license. Sponsored by Charlies spring water. And for maths I liked Doing this follow up in Wk
9.

W10 Reflection Term 1

Numeracy

This week for numeracy we have started to learn how to add decimals but we had a ordering decimals follow up and we had to record it... But I did it with Alex my friend. 

I found recording hard because I am very shy and Next time we will pause at the right time because at the start it didn't work well.

Literacy

This week for literacy I have done a follow up about a creature and made a fact file for dogs.

I didn't find it that hard because I just searched them up and I only found the diet hard becuase there are so many dog breeds and I had to find one so I thought their normal food!


Typing
This week for typing I have done a typing test for 3 minutes and I am going to do longer tests now because 3 minute tests are getting easy to do now. 

I think im improving at my typing and that is why I am going to do longer tests.

W9 Reflection T1

Literacy

This week I have read a book and done a follow up for my reading group. I made this using a google slide. Next time I could write more slides and I could also write more on my 3rd slide

Numeracy

This week for numeracy Me and my friend Trent have been doing some questions as our follow up and we even recorded it and here it is.

Next time I could write more questions with Trent.

Typing 

This week for typing I have done a typing test and I found this one really hard. Next time I could work on trying to get more words correct than speed.

Week 8 Reflection term 1 2017

Literacy

this week for literacy I have done a missing poster for zero. The purpose of the activity is to show that zero has gone missing I used google drawing to make this. 

Next time I could use a different font for MISSING.

Topic

This week for topic I have done a Westport camp questions slide with answers. I used google drawing. The purpose was to make questions and answer.

Numeracy

This week i have finished my Maths buddy weekly.

Camp Reflection 2017

By 9:00 we hit the road by 9:45 w were at Mitchell's gully and there was a water wheel that wasn't working at the time then we went to stop at a toilet so we were all good then we went to The Nile river Which was really. So anyways I had a swim. We had hit the lodge at 3:46 exact time. It was raining So we couldn't run around in the hall and it was sooooo boring until we went to the pool to have a splash  and we did that the next day aswell. We had so much fun on camp. I also did the walk and that was great. We then went to the friends of the hill building up at denniston. We had a great camp. Thanks to all of the parents that came on camp.

I have done typing And I have done 3 different games or activities.

Literacy

This week for literacy I have done a guess and check for my Follow up. I had to find 4 words in a book then guess them than check them in the dictionary. 

 I used Google drawing and the dictionary. Next time I could change the words that im guessing to 5+ words for a task 

Numeracy

This week I have finished all of my maths buddy tasks and here they are.

Literacy

This week for literacy I did a word work task. I used google drawing to create

I found changing the colours real long but I liked doing rainbow words. My WALT was Write ten spelling words and make them into rainbow colour and fancy fonts.

Numeracy

This week for numeracy I have been doing all of my maths buddy and we had diagnostic tests with 40 questions I used google drawing to create

I found doing all of the 40 questions real hard but I did it. I would want to have more tasks to complete.

This week I have been playing Tommy Q Zombie defender and I have killed 60 zombies by typing words like chocolate but I actually killed 22 in the round
